Operations Manager, Inventory & Fulfillment (Trade Shows & Events)

Location: Onsite five days per week at the Addison, Illinois facility; Addison, IL / Chicago, IL

What you will do

• Lead daily inventory coordination, order fulfillment, scheduling, and operational workflows.
• Manage supervisors and operational teams through coaching, direction, feedback, and development.
• Coordinate with account teams, supervisors, technicians, and other departments to meet client and project requirements.
• Oversee orders and work orders from initial requests through preparation, quality checks, delivery, returns, and final costing.
• Improve workflows, operational accuracy, accountability, efficiency, and recurring issue resolution.
• Manage staffing, workload distribution, operating expenses, budgets, performance metrics, reporting, and business systems including Customer Gateway, Zoho CRM, Event Express, and the Project System.

Requirements

• Approximately 4–10 years of experience in operations, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse environments.
• Previous experience managing teams, supervisors, or multiple operational functions.
• Experience with inventory control, order processing, asset management, distribution, or fulfillment workflows.
• Experience with budgeting, cost management, financial reporting, or P&L responsibilities.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
• College certificate or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.

Nice to have

• Experience in trade shows, exhibits, event production, experiential marketing, or another project-based environment.
• Experience with Zoho or similar CRM, inventory, order-management, or business operations systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
