Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite at PacStar HQ

Salary: $86,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage inventory costing, controls, customer contract analysis, revenue analysis, and general accounting activities.
• Process sales orders accurately and on time across the quote-to-cash cycle.
• Prepare G/L and sub-ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments.
• Support internal audit and tax preparation workpapers and analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies, report critical issues, and deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to the SAP S/4HANA implementation and transition planned for late 2027.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing costing.
• Working knowledge of sales order processing and quote-to-cash operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• ERP conversion experience.
• Experience with Sage, Avalara, SAP, Concur, or Crystal Reports.
