TL;DR
Application Consulting (Application Development and Cloud Integration): Designing and deploying application solutions, modernizing customer systems, and translating business needs into functional and nonfunctional specifications with an accent on application architecture, business analysis, and enterprise cloud integration. Focus on assessing requirements, selecting packaged solutions, coordinating implementation with architects and developers, and solving compatibility, migration, and modernization challenges.
Location: Partially remote, with the role based in Bogotá, Colombia

What you will do
- Advise customers on application development, deployment, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Assess business needs and document use cases, requirements, process flows, and functional and nonfunctional specifications.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into application, integration, migration, and modernization plans.
- Support packaged-solution selection and customization, including SaaS and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, vendors, and cross-functional technical specialists.
- Analyze compatibility, data conversion, operating system, hardware, training, cost, quality, and implementation considerations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment.
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization.
- 5+ years of experience with application architecture, middleware, and data.
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware and software, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong technical knowledge of Agile methods, service architecture, and enterprise cloud integration.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing SaaS applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or Lawson.
- Experience with application modernization tools such as CAST.
- Experience using and implementing DevSecOps processes.
- Experience helping stakeholders quantify risks and develop mitigation and remediation strategies.
