Staff Product Manager, Data Intelligence (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Ramon, CA; New York, NY; or Reno, NV. U.S. work authorization is required, and employer sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $136,000–$170,000 typical starting range; $149,500–$187,000 in select locations including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City Metro Area.

What you will do

• Own product discovery and delivery for the Reporting Engine, Report Builder data layer, and Historical Data Archive.
• Curate and govern datasets and data models with consistent structure, provenance, freshness, and quality signals.
• Partner with Engineering on a distributed query platform for scalable, performant analysis of complex cross-domain datasets.
• Work with Accounting, Performance, Market Data, Reporting Experience, and Reporting Workflow teams to define shared reporting concepts and roadmap priorities.
• Write use-case documents, PRDs, and testable product definitions, and support customer go-lives and enhancement requests.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Glean for research synthesis, requirements drafting, and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management or similar experience, including ownership and delivery of large cross-functional features or platform capabilities.
• Experience engaging with engineering on data architecture, query performance, and platform tradeoffs.
• Ability to write clear, specific, and testable PRDs, product definitions, and use cases.
• Strong fintech or enterprise SaaS knowledge, ideally involving investment reporting, portfolio accounting, or data/query platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed query engines such as Trino or Spark, data curation, or data governance.
• Experience with investment reporting, client statements, or performance analytics.
• CFA Charter, CIPM, or similar designation.
• Familiarity with AWS, APIs, and modern cloud and data platform concepts.
