Remote Java Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Create and maintain applications using Java.
• Build backend functionality for web applications using SQL and database tools.
• Design, implement, and optimize database queries from Java applications.
• Connect applications to databases, execute SQL queries, and support data processing and integration.
• Work with the customer’s technical team to identify requirements and support application development.
• Apply software development and Agile lifecycle best practices while sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of experience with Java and JavaScript.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL.
• Understanding of modern Java, Angular, JavaScript, and SQL coding practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment while delivering code for review and product demonstrations.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
