Software Development Engineer III - Java Stack

Location: Irving, Texas, United States. Hybrid arrangement with at least 2 days onsite per week.

What you will do

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Guide technical direction, coach team members, and promote learning and high-quality peer reviews.
• Support public-cloud adoption and help teams apply cloud technologies effectively.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve automated build, test, security, and deployment pipelines.
• Optimize data architecture, database queries, and indexes for scalable, performant products.
• Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and rapid incident resolution.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of software development experience.
• Expertise in one or more high-level programming languages, including Java, C#/.NET, or Go.
• Experience with modern software development practices, Agile Scrum, architecture, and design.
• Experience designing automated pipelines with testing and security controls using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, or Octopus Deploy.
• Knowledge of databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL systems such as CosmosDB.
• Must be able to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is unavailable, including H-1B, TN, L1, and OPT sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
• Experience with Logic Apps, Outsystems, Tibco BusinessWorks, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Xamarin, Angular, Node, Selenium, Postman, Maven, TestNG, or JMeter.
