TL;DR
Senior Java Developer (Java/Spring): Building and maintaining clean, testable Java services and technical specifications with an accent on RESTful and SOAP integrations, database technologies, and code quality. Focus on designing new features, reviewing and refactoring code, strengthening engineering practices, and coaching junior team members.
Salary: €4,000 and more based on experience
Location: 100% remote position
What you will do
- Act as a technical expert throughout the development life-cycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Coach junior team members to strengthen the team
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices
- Write clean, testable Java code and develop technical specifications
- Review and refactor code regularly
Requirements
- English: B2 and above
- Extensive experience with Java and popular frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with RESTful services, SOAP, web technologies, SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and unit testing frameworks
- Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies
