Construction Manager, Multifamily

Location: Remote within the United States, associated with Irvine, California; regular travel and site visits between multifamily properties are required.

Salary: $131,750–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage construction, renovation, capital repair, and structural projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Identify project needs, develop scopes of work and specifications, prepare estimates, and apply value engineering.
• Solicit and evaluate contractor bids, present recommendations, and support project approvals and contracting.
• Oversee construction execution, contractor performance, site safety, schedule, budget, quality, and resident or property impacts.
• Review invoices and change orders, track costs and budget variances, and manage financial exposure.
• Conduct inspections and punch walks, resolve deficiencies, and complete project documentation, warranties, and closeout records.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction experience required.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, renovation, capital repairs, property operations, project lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of building codes, permitting, contract administration, safety practices, and contractor oversight.
• Ability to develop scopes of work, review bids, manage budgets, oversee contractors, and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and project management or estimating software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred.
