Construction Project Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid and on-site support from the Washington, DC or New York City office, with travel to other locations as needed.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of hospitality construction projects.
• Build relationships with owners, architects, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress, risks, delays, milestones, and completion stages.
• Maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting records, change orders, drawings, inspections, and decisions.
• Represent and advocate for the owner during project meetings, disputes, changes, and change-order discussions.
• Track invoices, purchase orders, financial commitments, exposures, and project costs while helping resolve delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in hospitality construction or project management.
• Experience with hospitality renovations, CAPEX projects, conversions, and ground-up construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, engineering principles, construction methods, systems, and materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, with strong organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to work from the Washington, DC or New York City office and travel as required.
