Assistant Director, Client Delivery

Location: Remote

Salary: $88,000–$98,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage senior-level client relationships and serve as a strategic advisor for an assigned portfolio.
• Translate client goals into delivery plans, roadmaps, status updates, performance reviews, and planning sessions.
• Coordinate delivery teams, project managers, and solution leads across complex, multi-workstream portfolios.
• Plan timelines, budgets, milestones, and performance tracking while identifying risks early.
• Lead strategy sessions, approval checkpoints, retrospectives, and responses to complex client or operational issues.
• Coach team members, support Project Lead training, contribute to capacity planning, and help with hiring and onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10–12 years of experience in higher education, marketing, or agency work, including increasing responsibility.
• At least 4 years coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building, emotional intelligence, integrity, and self-motivation.
• Experience with project management tools such as Google Suite and Asana, including advanced Google Sheets and Slides.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams, competing priorities, ambiguity, and extended computer-based work in a remote setting.

Nice to have

• PMP, Agile, or a similar project management certification.
• Openness to using AI tools to improve the client experience.
