Contracts and Compliance Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: $100,000–$128,000 per year

What you will do

• Own client contract management from drafting and negotiation through execution, renewal tracking, and dispute support.
• Review indemnification, insurance, liability, termination, privacy, security, and other contractual obligations.
• Maintain contract and compliance repositories with key terms, milestones, renewal dates, obligations, and audit requirements.
• Identify portfolio risks and support internal and client-facing leaders during renewals, scope changes, and disputes.
• Ensure privacy and regulatory requirements flow down into vendor and subcontractor agreements.
• Directly supervise, coach, evaluate, recruit, and train two Senior Contracts and Compliance Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA, or another relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in contract management, compliance operations, vendor management, or a related legal or operations role.
• 2+ years of direct team management experience, preferably with senior-level individual contributors.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, security terms, indemnification, insurance, liability, and dispute resolution.
• Experience negotiating directly with senior-level clients or vendors and managing multiple client contracts simultaneously.
• Strong communication, judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism in high-stakes conversations.
