Staff Data Scientist (AI)

Location: New York, NY. Hybrid work with the data team going into the office 2–3 days a week; candidates should be excited to join onsite.

What you will do

• Own data and analytics for a business-critical product function, defining metrics and surfacing insights for the product roadmap.
• Build, validate, and maintain production-ready predictive models for churn, resurrection, and targeting.
• Design and analyze experiments and apply causal inference to measure the impact of features and feature adoption.
• Deliver clear analyses, recommendations, and sized business opportunities from complex data.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth to shape priorities and roadmaps.
• Contribute methodology, standards, and tooling to the company-wide experimentation platform.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience owning data science or product analytics for a product area.
• Experience designing and analyzing experiments end-to-end and applying causal inference methods.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate effectively across functions.
• Interest in improving healthcare outcomes through food-as-medicine approaches.
• Located in or able to work from the New York City office environment, with regular onsite collaboration expected.
