Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the San Francisco or New York office at least 3 times per week

Base salary: $195K–$225K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Collect, clean, and analyze internal and external data to identify business and product insights.
• Provide end-to-end visibility into AI generation pipelines, quality metrics, and automated production assessment.
• Investigate and resolve issues identified through data operations monitors, tools, and reports.
• Analyze user behavior, engagement, funnels, and retention to guide product improvements.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and AI model metrics to measure product and model effectiveness.
• Partner with product, engineering, science, commercial, finance, partner success, and executive teams to turn findings into priorities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience using Python, R, and SQL for analytics.
• 5+ years in product-facing roles driving outcomes through A/B testing and ambitious project or company goals.
• Experience with BI and code-based data visualization tools, including Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Seaborn, or ggplot2.
• Strong communication skills for presenting quantitative findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building data capabilities from early stages through rapid growth and collaborating with data engineering and machine learning teams.
• Willingness to work from the San Francisco or New York office at least three times per week.
