Enterprise Cloud Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and govern cloud-native architectures across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
• Translate business objectives into scalable, pragmatic, cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security, containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and architecture presentation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience in regulated industries and cloud compliance.
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.
