What you will do
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand end-user needs, behavior, and pain points.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design and improve interfaces supporting the migration of Atlassian products to the Atlassian Government Cloud environment.
- Audit and validate UI data presentation for accuracy, policy compliance, and consistency across dashboards.
- Develop UX improvements that streamline reporting and analytics workflows.
- Maintain design specifications, component libraries, and style guides while incorporating stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust required.
- 7+ years of experience.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Strong fluency in Figma and modern design tools, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and experience designing to them by default.
