Data Feed Operations - Associate (Fintech)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule with office attendance Monday–Thursday and remote work on Friday. Other listed locations: Salt Lake City, Utah.

Base salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Monitor inbound and outbound data feeds, APIs, file integrations, processing results, validations, deliveries, and service exceptions.
• Reconcile investment positions, transactions, valuations, cash activity, and reporting data across source systems and downstream outputs.
• Investigate data-quality exceptions and feed breaks, identify root causes, document findings, and coordinate remediation.
• Use SQL, analytical tools, and automation to validate data, trace lineage, identify anomalies, and improve reconciliation workflows.
• Document feed specifications, mappings, business rules, controls, procedures, and certification evidence.
• Support new-feed testing, platform migrations, operational metrics, and communication with product, engineering, clients, and partners.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data operations, investment operations, data analysis, fintech, performance reporting, fund administration, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills with relational databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with APIs, file-based integrations, external data providers, ETL or ELT processes, data pipelines, or orchestration workflows.
• Experience monitoring feeds, investigating exceptions, reconciling data, and documenting mappings or business rules.
• Knowledge of investment positions, transactions, valuations, capital activity, investment performance reporting, or fund accounting.
• Python experience for data analysis, validation, automation, or reconciliation, plus strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of alternative investments, private markets, wealth management, or partner capital account data.
• Experience supporting data migrations, source-system conversions, or implementation testing in controlled production environments.
