Backend Engineer (Golang)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $147,000–$215,000 for general US locations; $167,000–$238,000 for premium US locations. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Enhance and scale the ClickPipes data onboarding platform for increasing real-time data volumes.
• Own and evolve infrastructure across AWS, with planned expansion to GCP and Azure.
• Improve deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions focused on scalability and resilience.
• Participate in on-call rotations, investigate production incidents, and improve systems using operational metrics and customer feedback.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
• 5+ years of industry experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong experience with Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform or a comparable infrastructure-as-code tool, and cloud-native architecture.
• Solid knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong production debugging, communication, collaboration, customer focus, and autonomous project ownership skills.
