Senior Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, California.

Salary: $140,800–$184,800 for US Tier 3, $158,400–$207,900 for US Tier 2, or $176,000–$231,000 for US Tier 1, plus equity.

What you will do

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for hirify.global Cloud capacity systems.
• Design infrastructure for resource utilization tracking, consumption forecasting, and automated capacity planning at scale.
• Build a resource manager that improves infrastructure efficiency using usage trends, cost insights, and customer needs.
• Partner with Product, Cloud Infrastructure, and Finance on provisioning, pricing, and scaling decisions.
• Develop long-term strategies for intelligent autoscaling, workload isolation, and predictable performance in a multi-tenant cloud environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production software with Go, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure spanning compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience designing distributed systems and production cloud services, preferably on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and its surrounding ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of cloud costs, utilization tracking, and workload forecasting.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, including alignment with executive and finance stakeholders.
