What you will do
- Provide legal advice to executives, management, and contracts teams on complex business and operational matters.
- Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of complex agreements with customers and third parties.
- Advise senior leadership on legal risks, regulatory changes, liability, insurance, and risk mitigation.
- Lead investigations, claims, litigation, interviews, reports, interrogatories, and pretrial work.
- Manage intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and nondisclosure issues.
- Supervise external counsel and provide legal guidance on privacy, data protection, software licensing, procurement, and financial-services matters.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and graduation from an accredited law school.
- Current qualifications and licensure required to practice law and continued maintenance of licensure throughout employment.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Deep experience handling complex legal issues, commercial negotiations, investigations, litigation, and corporate matters.
- Strong judgment, communication, negotiation, relationship-management, adaptability, and emotional-intelligence skills.
