Commercial Sourcing Advisor (Energy)

Salary: $80,800–$139,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage material commodity buying for operations, turnarounds, and projects, including sourcing, bid evaluation, supplier negotiations, and purchase order execution.
• Develop and implement regional and local sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance strategies.
• Lead bid packages from development through purchase order execution, including vendor pre-bid meetings and site walks.
• Prepare and negotiate service and supply agreement terms, rate sheets, and commercial conditions.
• Analyze sourcing, financial, and operational data, including total cost of ownership, should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and root-cause analysis.
• Drive cost savings, risk reduction, contract compliance, business continuity, and continuous improvement across assigned business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering education preferred.
• At least two years of Supply Chain or relevant business experience.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Tableau, M365, and TRACK.
• Ability to apply critical thinking, financial acumen, market research, project management, and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to work with operations, maintenance, engineering, turnaround, project, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
