ASIC Design Engineer II (AI)

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Design and implement video compression, image processing, vector processing, neural network accelerators, processor cores, and memory subsystems.
• Develop and verify logic using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and scripting languages.
• Synthesize and optimize RTL for performance, area, and power efficiency.
• Develop and improve front-end design methodologies and tool flows.
• Contribute to chip bring-up and validation.
• Analyze code and functional coverage and collaborate with verification engineers to address coverage gaps.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture, logic design, and VLSI design principles.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and Perl.
• Familiarity with design verification methodologies, functional coverage, scripting, and assembly language programming.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of logic synthesis and timing closure.
