Technical Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations during the accounting month-end close.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Research accounting matters and analyze potential transactions.
• Review accounting processes and support internal control documentation.
• Assist with audits and build relationships with other departments.
• Review contracts and evaluate their accounting implications under GAAP.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore at the time of application and actively pursue a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Perform work safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, academic projects, or competitions.
• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Project management, communication, planning, organizational, prioritization, and process improvement skills.
