Senior Staff Accountant (AI Automation)

What you will do

• Prepare complex account analyses and journal entries during the month-end close.
• Own accounting processes covering freight, leases, extended warranty amortization, deferred revenue amortization, and intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile advanced general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules.
• Analyze OPEX statements and explain month-over-month and actual-to-forecast variances.
• Support SAP and OneStream process implementation or testing, audits, and cross-functional financial initiatives.
• Maintain process documentation, drive continuous improvement projects, and coach a general ledger intern.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
• 5+ years of related accounting experience.
• Advanced accounting knowledge and experience with financial analysis and accounting treatment.
• Knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis and trends to upper management.
• Ability to work onsite in Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMP certification.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Experience with OneStream and public accounting.
• Experience using AI automation in month-end processes.
