Data, Integration & Systems (DIS) Team Lead (AI)

Location: Onsite in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization. U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $139,100–$231,900, plus a 17.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead the site data strategy, standards, governance, and data enablement roadmap in alignment with network and global requirements.
• Oversee system integrations, data flows, historians, data platforms, and local application lifecycle management.
• Ensure manufacturing data is accurately contextualized, governed to GxP standards, validated, and ready for inspection.
• Enable analytics, AI, and digital innovation use cases by delivering reliable data preparation, integration, monitoring, and AI tools and agents.
• Lead incident, deviation, recovery, validation, and data integrity activities across site systems.
• Coach technical colleagues and contract resources while managing delivery, capability development, succession planning, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience, master's degree with at least 5 years, or PhD with at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience in Digital, Automation, IT systems, or related technical environments, preferably in regulated pharmaceutical or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, integration patterns, lifecycle management, data governance, industrial data contextualization, and ISA-95 equipment hierarchies.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams, managing projects or programs, and working within matrixed, cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, change management, lifecycle governance, validation, cybersecurity, and other regulated-environment requirements.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI capabilities and translating use cases into measurable business value.
• Lean/Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile, or relevant technical certifications.
