Regional Maintenance Manager (Packaging)

Location: Columbus, Indiana, United States; travel to various work locations is required.

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 starting annual salary, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Provide regional maintenance leadership, direction, and support for assigned plants.
• Coordinate maintenance best practices and support maintenance supervisors and crews in daily operations.
• Assess equipment conditions, troubleshoot operational issues, and advise on equipment investment and usage.
• Lead continuous improvement of regional asset operations, maintenance programs, and long-term strategies.
• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, contractors, parts, tooling, and work procedures.
• Develop critical-path plans for major equipment installations and shutdowns while maintaining safe, injury-free work environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of leadership and strategic business development experience in the packaging industry.
• 10+ years of equipment maintenance experience in corrugated manufacturing, including knowledge of corrugated and packaging equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and budget management skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, shop-floor software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to travel as necessary and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
