EHS Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site five days per week in Carrollton, Texas, with regular travel between Carrollton and Fort Worth facilities

Annual base salary: $70,400.00–$128,379.99

What you will do

• Own and standardize the environmental, health, and safety program across Carrollton facilities, the upcoming Fort Worth site, and field-service operations.
• Conduct safety walks, audits, inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses, driving corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain OSHA programs, safety policies, SDS and chemical-hazard documentation, PPE processes, and required OSHA records.
• Develop and deliver safety training covering orientation, toolbox talks, PPE, LOTO, HAZMAT/HAZWOPER, machine safety, fluid handling, and emergency response.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support physical security, emergency preparedness, facility readiness, safety metrics, and coordination with IT, Facilities, OSHA, fire, law enforcement, and EMS.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in safety coordination, EHS, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and applicable federal, state, and local safety standards.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience with safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety training.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills, plus experience with safety or incident reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site and travel between Carrollton and Fort Worth, Texas facilities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, CIH, or similar professional certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems.
• Experience with EHS management platforms, physical security programs, data centers, thermal systems, HVAC, electromechanical, or fluid-based manufacturing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills and experience in a high-growth or multi-site organization.
