Senior Health & Safety Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Graniteville, South Carolina, United States; onsite. Relocation is eligible. The role may require responding to off-shift safety incidents and emergencies.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year plus an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead EHS programs and safety initiatives at a large manufacturing facility supporting more than 500 employees.
• Develop and improve health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations.
• Manage LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, ergonomics, hot work, and contractor safety programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, regulatory reporting, and emergency preparedness.
• Deliver safety training and partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and leadership to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of EHS or safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-production environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, risk assessments, corrective actions, OSHA recordkeeping, and safety training.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to work onsite and respond to off-shift incidents or emergencies.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, CIH, OHST, or First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
