Roadway Project Manager (Transportation Infrastructure)

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare roadway, traffic management, pavement marking, signing, plans, quantities, cost estimates, construction administration materials, and final specifications.
• Manage project workload, design criteria, calculations, construction details, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, review engineering work, and provide technical direction and mentorship.
• Conduct field observations and data collection, analyze technical problems, and develop alternative engineering solutions.
• Serve as a primary client contact and support project planning, implementation, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of roadway design experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience designing arterials, limited-access highways, bridge replacement approaches, intersections, interchanges, and rail crossings.
• Ability to coordinate design teams, review technical work, and manage project quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

• Experience working with NCDOT.
• Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modeling.
