Bridge Project Manager (Bridge Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio, United States; other locations include Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $101,502–$146,561 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the pursuit and delivery of bridge and structural infrastructure design projects, including preliminary engineering and PS&E.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, delivery approaches, and proposal cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and coordinate multidisciplinary transportation teams.
• Perform bridge design analyses, calculations, technical reviews, and QA/QC for projects of varying complexity.
• Manage staff utilization, project performance, contract activities, client communication, and presentations.
• Prepare and oversee studies, reports, quantities, cost estimates, and construction drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, engineering management, or a related discipline.
• Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of bridge design and transportation engineering experience, including at least 2 years managing bridge-related projects or tasks.
• Strong knowledge of ODOT standards, procedures, and delivery practices, plus experience with bridge analysis and design software.
• Experience with MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
