Transportation Project Manager

Location: Tallahassee, Florida, United States (Hybrid)

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineering design and delivery of roadway, highway, and freeway projects throughout Florida.
• Manage plan production for conventional design-bid-build and potentially design-build highway projects.
• Lead and mentor interdisciplinary project teams across design and plan preparation activities.
• Review professional work and oversee QA/QC, mentoring, training, and staff development.
• Build client relationships, develop pursuit capture plans, and support proposals, interviews, and presentations.
• Manage project financials, schedules, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of transportation project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Strong technical background in transportation engineering, including roadway elements, hydrology and hydraulics, structures, and traffic components.
• Experience leading client-facing interdisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Proven seller-doer track record; FDOT roadway final design experience is preferred.
