Senior Project Manager (Wastewater Design)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; hybrid

Salary: $140,800–$211,200 annually

What you will do

• Lead project teams delivering planning, design, and construction services for stormwater, water, and wastewater infrastructure.
• Lead proposals and pursue opportunities with regional municipal clients, primarily in the Richmond, Virginia area.
• Develop engineering studies, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and rehabilitation designs.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and memoranda for client deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, resources, client coordination, invoicing, and payments.
• Mentor staff and present project deliverables to clients.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering consulting for municipal clients.
• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure required.
• Experience preparing contract documents, drawings, and specifications for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control, and architectural disciplines.
• Strong communication, technical writing, client service, integrity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
