Digital Project Manager (Industrial AI)

Location: On-site, full-time at the Frederick, Maryland manufacturing site; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location.

Base salary: $75,000–$115,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own and prioritize a backlog of approximately 40 digital and AI use cases through the site's Q4 planning cycle.
• Manage non-capital digital initiatives spanning asset intelligence, process intelligence, maintenance planning, and industrial AI.
• Coordinate deployment and adoption of Cognite, HighByte, Seeq, and comparable industrial AI and asset-intelligence platforms.
• Partner with maintenance and reliability teams on scheduling, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and prioritized OEE initiatives.
• Organize P&IDs, equipment availability data, breakdown history, technician checklists, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Track risks, dependencies, timelines, and progress while coordinating engineering, maintenance, quality, IT, site leadership, and hirify.global/LBG digital teams.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience managing digital, technology, or data-enabled initiatives; capital or construction project management experience alone is not sufficient.
• Experience operating in a GxP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial AI or asset-intelligence platforms such as Cognite, HighByte, or Seeq, or comparable platforms.
• Ability to manage a multi-workstream backlog and prioritize a broad portfolio of digital use cases.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, maintenance, quality, and IT/digital functions.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site full-time at the Frederick, Maryland site; applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Vertex or other maintenance scheduling and CMMS platforms.
• Knowledge of OEE, predictive maintenance, P&IDs, LOTO procedures, and equipment breakdown or checklist management.
• Experience supporting FDA inspections, PAI activities, or PPQ campaigns.
