Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Location: 100% remote; supports a large-scale federal facilities engineering and infrastructure program.

Salary: $100,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform engineering surveys, assessments, and technical evaluations of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment, building systems, controls, utilities, and related infrastructure.
• Support HVAC and mechanical systems, including testing, adjusting, and balancing.
• Evaluate and improve BAS/BMS, UMCS, SCADA, DDC, utility metering, and facility control systems.
• Assess electrical distribution systems, support controls and metering modifications, and participate in commissioning and performance testing.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight within the engineering functional area.

Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Relevant management or supervisory experience and demonstrated engineering expertise.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with HVAC, BAS/BMS, UMCS, SCADA, DDC, electrical distribution, utility metering, TAB, commissioning, or arc-flash assessments.
• Previous DoD, USACE, or other federal facilities experience.
