First Article Engineer II (Hardware)

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, Arizona; an additional facility location is listed in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.

Annual hiring range: $63,300–$88,000.

What you will do

• Support new product introductions by running initial test builds.
• Assemble products during test builds and early production support.
• Document build steps, settings, outcomes, assembly procedures, and test processes.
• Develop scripts to enable, automate, and validate build and testing activities.
• Test hardware functionality and confirm readiness for facility introduction.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience building computers and strong general hardware knowledge.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
• Exposure to process improvement methodologies and initiatives.
