Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within Latin America

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain features across modern web applications, backend services, data-intensive systems, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Build frontend applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and develop backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work with relational databases and SQL to support product functionality and data-intensive applications.
• Use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, and optimization, and validate AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, design, data, and QA teams to deliver practical technical solutions.
• Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, documentation, CI/CD workflows, production readiness, data visualization, security, and observability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience developing production software with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern backend language.
• At least 1 year of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and building applications with React.
• At least 3 years of experience writing SQL and working with relational databases.
• Practical experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle and evaluating AI-generated output for quality, security, and data governance risks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including software design, data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, and reliable production delivery.
• Must be located in Latin America; equivalent practical experience may replace a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Java with Spring or Spring Boot, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, or Oracle experience.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent technologies.
• Automated unit, integration, and API testing, CI/CD, and production deployment experience.
• GCP or AWS, Snowflake or BigQuery, and experience with legacy application modernization.
• Experience with data-intensive applications, analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled products.
