Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build features for an AI-powered risk intelligence platform that detects and responds to emerging online threats.
• Translate product requirements into precise specifications, technical plans, task breakdowns, and acceptance criteria.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Kiro to implement, test, review, and refine software.
• Own backend services, REST APIs, and integrations from specification through production.
• Maintain coding standards, context files, prompts, templates, and automated tests that improve AI-generated code quality.
• Improve spec-driven development, tooling, and CI/CD practices while collaborating with a US-based client team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
• Hands-on daily experience with AI coding agents and spec-driven development.
• Strong backend skills with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go, REST APIs, and SQL databases; full-stack experience with React or a similar framework is also relevant.
• Strong testing discipline covering unit tests, integration tests, and test-first practices.
• Experience with Git workflows, code review, CI/CD, and deployment to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, with especially strong written communication for specifications and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM-powered features such as RAG, agents, or tool calling.
• Experience setting up team AI development tooling, MCP servers, agent rules files, or shared prompt libraries.
• Experience with data-heavy or SaaS platforms, security, threat intelligence, or trust and safety.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• Experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams.
