Data Engineer (Snowflake/dbt)

What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain data pipelines supporting data science and customer-facing client teams.
• Evaluate, clean, parse, and integrate first-, second-, and third-party data, including survey data, APIs, IP addresses, clickstream data, and movie metadata.
• Develop ETL processes and code-based data transformations and aggregations across data warehouses and relational or non-relational databases.
• Monitor pipeline efficiency, stability, data integrity, storage efficiency, and the overall data ecosystem.
• Contribute to data ingestion APIs and integrations with BI tools such as Tableau.
• Recommend data storage approaches, configurations, access tools, technologies, and architectures while collaborating with application developers and external vendors.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience with dbt and 3+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience building data pipelines or ETL processes.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies or infrastructure, using GCP or AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or another version control tool.
• Experience with Dagster or another orchestration tool, plus a solid foundation in end-to-end development.
