Senior Solutions Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Remote - United States West Coast, including Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco

Estimated annual on-target earnings: $210,000–$230,000, consisting of base compensation and commission.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to drive technical evaluations and pre-sales activities.
• Lead product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Understand customer DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and technical requirements.
• Translate customer needs into scalable hirify.global solutions.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Sales, Product, and Engineering.
• Support RFPs, security questionnaires, architecture discussions, and product roadmap feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and taking ownership of complex problems.
• Must be based in the United States West Coast region.

Nice to have

• Background as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Experience selling or supporting SaaS or platform products.
