Project Manager (Cloud/Cybersecurity)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States; hybrid onsite/remote work from the Fairfax office

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary project manager and customer interface for assigned government programs.
• Lead planning, execution, delivery, and reporting for secure cloud-based solutions.
• Coordinate systems engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, software development, and operations teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues, action items, and documentation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, customer meetings, status reviews, executive briefings, and presentations.
• Coordinate system deployments, production releases, maintenance activities, and project deliverables.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ certification or higher within 30 days of starting.
• 5–9 years of project coordination, project management, technical, defense, or related experience, including 5+ years managing IT, software development, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile environments, strong communication and problem-solving skills, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, and general knowledge of cloud technologies and enterprise IT environments.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• CAPM, PMP, or other project management training or certification.
• Experience with technical, software, Agile, pilot, proof-of-concept, or technology innovation projects.
• Familiarity with AWS, secure or classified environments, RMF, cybersecurity compliance, secure system deployment, data platforms, and DoD acquisition processes.
