Data Acquisition Systems and Solutions Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; availability for travelling is required for team meetings, customer demonstrations, and support.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and integrate hardware and software data acquisition solutions.
• Specify sensors, transducers, and instrumentation for health monitoring and condition-based maintenance.
• Develop data processing algorithms and methodologies to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Troubleshoot DAQ systems, sensors, and data flows, and perform validation and verification activities.
• Create technical specifications, test plans, operational procedures, CONOPS, and OPSCON documentation.
• Provide technical support and training while contributing to project planning, scheduling, financial aspects, and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data acquisition systems.
• Strong knowledge of sensor technologies, signal conditioning, and DAQ hardware and software platforms.
• Programming experience in Python and C++ and knowledge of Ethernet, CAN bus, and MIL-STD-1553 protocols.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace or defence industry.
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Spanish.
