Clinical Informatics Educator (Epic)

Location: Hybrid role based in Middleton, Wisconsin, with work at various hirify.global locations in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Salary: $67,713–$101,569 per year

What you will do

• Deliver training for Epic and other clinical applications.
• Develop educational materials and curricula for adult learners.
• Support the use, adoption, and optimization of clinical applications, tools, and platforms.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Identify problems and opportunities through critical thinking and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in healthcare, education, or a relevant technical field, or two years of relevant experience and education in lieu of the degree.
• Experience developing curricula and delivering education that supports adult learning or optimizes IT solutions.
• Experience using or supporting applications, tools, and platforms.
• Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend and overnight hours.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, or a relevant technical field.
• Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in education, informatics, or information applications.
• Epic or other relevant vendor certifications.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives, project management, or platform and process improvement.
