Credentialed Trainer II - Ambulatory (Epic)

Location: Irving, TX, United States. Full-time onsite role with occasional overnight travel of up to 20%.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and deliver classroom, virtual, workflow-based, role-specific, and eLearning training for electronic health record implementations.
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers, Analysts, Informaticists, healthcare leaders, Education, and end users to align build, training, and support with approved workflows.
• Provide onsite end-user support through rounding, associate fairs, job shadows, and other support activities.
• Create and maintain job aids, online learning modules, Learning Home Dashboards, classroom materials, and workflow documentation.
• Review Visio workflows, test and troubleshoot training and build environments, and escalate operational issues when needed.
• Support provisioning by confirming required training completion before access is granted, while mentoring and training other team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in education, Epic end-user support, or a related field required; healthcare education experience preferred.
• Experience with adult learners, instructional design, in-person or virtual training, and Learning Management Systems is preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic applications, credentialed training, informatics, analysis, facilitation, logistics coordination, full-cycle implementations, post-live support, or quarterly upgrades is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word; experience or willingness to learn Excel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Lists required.
• Must achieve designated Epic Credentialed status within six months of hire and is expected to obtain credentialed status in at least one additional Epic application within one year.
