Solutions Architect I, Professional Services (Geospatial)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; hybrid work requiring attendance at the Arlington office 3 days per week

Salary: $93,420–$116,730 USD annual base salary, plus potential incentives, equity, and commission eligibility.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and provides satellite data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, and humanitarian applications.

What you will do

• Apply remote sensing and geospatial expertise to help Professional Services customers adopt the hirify.global Platform.
• Build software tools, proofs of concept, sample applications, and APIs using hirify.global APIs and analytics endpoints.
• Own customer engagements from scoping and discovery through project execution, requirements documentation, training, and solution delivery.
• Build and maintain APIs for enterprise and federal customers and develop usage metrics to support customer growth.
• Collaborate with software engineers and Sales to deliver solutions and support business opportunities.
• Gather customer and user insights to influence hirify.global’s products and offerings.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience in the DoD or Intelligence Community space.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and codebases, debug complex problems, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience progressing team initiatives and developing applications or processes in dynamic environments.
• Ability to work from the Arlington, Virginia office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Current TS/SCI clearance.
• JavaScript mapping libraries, Google Earth Engine, and its SDK.
• PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, Python, data pipelines, Linux, and shell scripting.
• QGIS, Esri software, GDAL, cloud deployments on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Public-facing API design, customer engagement leadership, and Multi-Domain/Multi-Level Security architecture experience.
