Sr Solution Architect (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid or in office in Lone Tree, Colorado, or Plano, Texas, United States. Ability to travel as required.

Salary: $143,487.14–$197,294.82 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Design and implement strategic technology solutions for complex business needs.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements with executive stakeholders.
• Develop solution architecture artifacts and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Lead design reviews, make architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with technology platforms and standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and troubleshoot complex implementation issues.
• Lead project planning and execution to support successful solution delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Without a degree, at least 12 years of related experience is required.
• 8 or more years of experience in solution architecture or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of solution architecture principles and frameworks, system integration, and software development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance in solution design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Agile experience, enterprise software knowledge, or architecture certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with enterprise-wide tool adoption, digital transformation, architectural governance, mentoring, and long-range technical roadmaps.
• Experience designing solutions across multiple engineering disciplines.
