Solutions Architect (Network Architecture)

Location: Preferred hybrid from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, or remote within the United States

What you will do

• Lead consultative discovery of customer business goals, objectives, and technology challenges.
• Design solutions across communications, network architecture, IoT, smart office, mobility, and managed services.
• Act as the technical design and deal architecture expert for multi-faceted, multi-technology solutions.
• Partner with internal and external subject-matter experts to develop customer solutions and support implementation.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution designs, scopes of work, and technical project plans.
• Support account planning, customer engagements, solution development, and sales and profit goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as solutions architecture, sales engineering, consulting, service delivery, or pre/post-sales.
• Experience developing and implementing IT or managed services solutions with end-to-end delivery accountability.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to explain complex systems to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated and verifiable successful customer engagements, including solution designs, scopes of work, or technical project plans.
• Current BICSI RCDD certification is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ConnectWise PSA or CPQ, data center technologies, IoT endpoints, smart office solutions, or managed services.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet routing, VPNs, firewalls, switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, wireless, cloud, hypervisors, server farms, SAN, and leaf-spine topologies.
• Experience with network assessment tools such as Netformx, Ekahau, AirMagnet, iBwave, or SolarWinds.
• Certifications including BICSI DCDC, Cisco/Meraki, HP/Aruba, TOGAF, ITIL, or CompTIA.
