TL;DR
Materials Analyst (Supply Chain/Lean Manufacturing): Developing and implementing lean enterprise material flow strategies for refuse truck manufacturing with an accent on supply chain cost reduction, inventory control, ERP parameters, and logistics route engineering. Focus on analyzing material flows, reducing shortages and excess handling, optimizing replenishment and production synchronization, and leading cross-functional improvement projects.

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States. This is a primarily office-based role.

Salary: $57,600–$90,400 per year.

McNeilus, an Oshkosh company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies, including rear-load, front-load, and automated side-load models.

What you will do

  • Develop and deploy cross-functional supply chain initiatives focused on waste reduction and cost savings.
  • Lead project teams, track schedules and KPIs, and present project status to executives.
  • Support lean material flow strategy implementation across KPIs, PFEP, replenishment, WMS, inventory control, production scheduling, and IT systems.
  • Update ERP parameters and maintain documentation in alignment with the Plan for Every Part process.
  • Analyze ERP, spreadsheet, and operational data to improve shortage mitigation, inventory accuracy, material planning, and workload forecasting.
  • Optimize material consumption synchronization, conveyance routes, point-of-use presentation, and material handling through value stream analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience in supply chain, materials, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to solve problems using operational and materials data.
  • Experience supporting material flow, inventory control, production scheduling, or related supply chain processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects through completion and report on schedules, KPIs, and results.
  • Ability to work in the Dodge Center, Minnesota office environment.
