Production Planner

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints.
• Adjust schedules in response to delays, equipment issues, and material shortages.
• Coordinate labor and equipment requirements with department leads.
• Review material requirements, coordinate order changes with procurement, and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and report on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.
• Support process improvements and best practices for planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as QAD, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Epicor; QAD experience is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience planning production or supply for polymers, resins, and fillers in the electronics industry.
