Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist (Midwest)

Location: Remote within the United States, based in Greater Minneapolis, Chicago, or Texas; candidates outside the territory must be willing to relocate before starting. Travel to customer laboratories and other sites is required, approximately 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales assay development, troubleshooting, optimization, validation, and technical support for Simple Plex Ella and Luminex platforms.
• Support customers with assay design, planning, platform correlation and bridging, and data interpretation.
• Conduct scientific seminars, product demonstrations, evaluations at prospect sites, and training on instruments, assays, software, and data analysis.
• Visit customer laboratories and accompany Sales Representatives to provide immunoassay and applications expertise.
• Attend scientific meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and vendor shows while supporting sales and product usage.
• Share customer feedback with sales, marketing, product development, software, and global Field Applications Scientist teams; maintain support information in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or a related life science field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on immunoassay experience.
• Thorough understanding of immunoassay principles and their application across research fields.
• Ability to independently execute assay and reagent troubleshooting, optimization, and validation experiments.
• Strong scientific communication, presentation, training, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in a relevant life science field.
• Previous Field Applications Scientist or technical support experience.
