Analytics Platform Engineer - Senior Associate (AI)

Base salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $138,000–$189,750.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain AWS platform services for data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and reporting.
• Develop reusable Python frameworks, utilities, automation tools, and developer self-service capabilities.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Python, Spark, SQL, and AWS services.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, provisioning, monitoring, observability, and operational automation.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and data issues and contribute to testing, security, maintainability, and architecture standards.
• Explore AI, machine learning, cloud services, and analytics technologies that improve platform capabilities and developer productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills and experience building production-grade applications and automation.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, ECS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, data pipelines, large datasets, SQL, Git-based source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and Agile collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or modern data lake architecture experience.
• Terraform or CloudFormation Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Experience developing APIs, platform services, internal developer tooling, monitoring, and operational automation.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or Data Engineer.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, machine learning, AI workloads, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Enterprise.
