Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, Jacksonville, Boston, or New York, United States
Salary: $150,000β$180,000 annual base salary in California; discretionary bonus and/or equity may also be available.

What you will do
- Design and build a scalable Agentic AI framework on an enterprise big data platform.
- Implement MCP- and A2A-based architectures for agent collaboration and orchestration.
- Integrate AI services with data pipelines using Airflow, Spark, Trino, StarRocks, and DBT.
- Build APIs, SDKs, and tooling for internal framework users.
- Enable secure, reliable, and multi-tenant deployment of AI agents with platform and application teams.
- Evaluate agentic AI, LLM, and orchestration technologies, mentor engineers, and establish AI engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python programming experience.
- Experience with data engineering or distributed systems, including Spark, Hive, Trino, StarRocks, DBT, Airflow, or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of LLM-based systems and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, OpenAI MCP, or A2A.
- Hands-on API design and integration experience with REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, IAM, security, and multi-tenancy.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from San Francisco, Jacksonville, Boston, or New York.
Nice to have
- Experience with information security, vector databases, event-driven architectures, RAG, and authorization systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools, enterprise AI governance, and open-source AI frameworks.
